Mr Richard Hampton



Professional background

Mr Hampton is one of our Orthopaedic Consultants and has worked at Kingston Hospital Trust since 2002. His particular interest and expertise is in hip and knee replacement surgery.

Mr Hampton qualified from St Thomas’ Hospital Medical School in 1988. After basic surgical training on the Northwick Park Hospital Surgical Rotation, he undertook higher surgical training on the St Mary’s Hospital Orthopaedic Rotation working at St Mary’s Wexham Park, Royal Berkshire, Northwick Park, Chelsea and Westminster and Kingston Hospitals.

He can advise and treat most conditions related to the hip and knee including arthritis, fractures, tendinopathies, bursitis, cartilage tears, loose bodies, impingement and painful hip replacements.
